Wiki rules[]
Users who break one of the following rules may be treated to a ban, with the duration depending on the severity of the offense.
- Do not be aggressive: Don't harass fellow users. Give respect and common courtesy to others, and you will receive it back. Bullying is not allowed and will result in an indefinite ban from the wiki.
- Do not engage in vandalism: Don't purposefully vandalize pages. Do not add false or off-topic information that would compromise the quality of a page. Do not edit the user pages of other people without their permission. Death hoaxes are absolutely not allowed!
- Do not engage in edit farming: Don't edit pages solely for the purpose of moving up on the leaderboard or making it appear that you have contributed more than you really have to the wiki. Ensure that your edits are constructive and meaningful, such as adding pertinent information to pages or fixing errors.
- Do not create off-topic pages: Don't create pages that are not relevant to the topic of longevity. The Superlongevity Wiki is not the place to promote your business or modeling portfolio. Any off-topic pages will be deleted and may result in a ban for the user that created them if their intent was malicious.
- Do not copy and paste information: Don't copy and paste information from outside sources. If you add biographical information to a page (thank you if you do!), please put the information in your own words. Keeping a couple sentences is OK when done on occasion but do not duplicate hefty paragraphs from articles or from LongeviQuest.
